The 10th Flying Pig Marathon is Sunday, May 4, 2008
Bill Cambridge is running the 10th annual Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon to raise money for the American Cancer Society. This is the 3rd year Bill has been part of TEAM “Run for Dad”. Each year Bill raises $3,000, and this year with the help of on line donations we hope to increase the funds raised to fight prostate cancer to $5,000!! Vermont Teddy Bear Factory
On Monday February 13, 2006 TEAM “Run for Dad” volunteered at the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The group, included students and teachers from Lake Placid High School, it also included family and friends of Run for Dad Founder, Lisa Casey David. Lisa’s father, Joseph K. Casey died of prostate cancer 10 years ago, since then Lisa has raised funds in memory of her father, all to benefit prostate cancer programs offered through your local American Cancer Society. The group stresses the importance of early detection as a lifesaver and continued research of this silent killer.
